Have you just finished writing your nonfiction book? I'm happy to work with new or aspiring authors as well as those who are readying the latest addition to their body of work. Most of the nonfiction works I've edited in the past have been self-help books, how-to manuals, or accounts of religious or spiritual journeys.
Although I self-identify as an agnostic individual, I do have a background in religious studies, history, and art history, so I'm familiar with the basic tenets of religions such as Christianity, Judaism, Islam, and Buddhism. Regardless of the subject matter, I will focus on making your work easy for your target audience to understand. Fact-checking items such as Bible verses is a standard practice with my editing services.
